What to expect

Lisbon is a bustling European capital. But literally on the other side of the river, there is one of the most beautiful natural parks, which charges with the power of nature.

The tour to Arrábida and Setúbal with an experienced guide, Stas Menshov, is a breath of fresh ocean breeze, velvety greenery of the slopes strewn with herbs, and the crunching of the sand of secret beaches. These are Instagram viewing and unknown paths. In addition, it is the power of the ocean and the friendliness of a tiny fishing town.

After meeting with Stas near your hotel, you will go 40 km from the capital to the left bank of the Tagus River to admire the natural park of Arrábida, where you will be met by limestone cliffs and caves with bats, fortifications, and a monastery of the 16th century. In the low season, you can go down to the cave where the chapel is hidden.

Then you will have lunch in Setúbal, a cozy fishing town where the Portuguese and country guests come to try the famous local fast food: cuttlefish.

In the afternoon, you will find the castle's ruins in Sesimbra, a mystical cemetery, and the most delicious ice cream. The tour will end at the Statue of Christ, painted with sunset rays, with stunning views of Lisbon.

A trip to Arrábida and Setubal is an excellent opportunity to take a break from the city, its exhaust fumes, noise, and smell of asphalt, and get to know the nature, history, and customs of the surroundings of the capital.
