What to expect

What could be better than a fresh cup of Portuguese coffee, drunk on a sunny morning, with the sound of the sea? We are in Olhão, a kind of pleasant fishing town. The town's main attraction is undoubtedly the local fish market, with lots of freshly caught fish from the ocean. The fishers unload it from the boats right in the port near the market, and the best then comes to the market and local restaurants along the coastline.

We will first enjoy a long walk through the narrow streets and alleys of the neighborhood with its unique cubist architecture and go along the Path of Legends, which snakes from area to area with its lost statues related to the history of Olhão. After that, we will have lunch in one of the typical Olhão restaurants.

Then we will go to Moncarapacho and taste the best olive oil in the world. After that, we will visit olive and flower plantations - not just plantations, but a whole empire built on the dream and perseverance of a baron with Russian roots.
