The eastern part of São Miguel has been considered the island's most protected secret for many years, with native and exotic vegetation and forested mountains.
The northeast is geologically the oldest part of the island. On our way, we will stop at a park with a beautiful waterfall, surrounded by old water mills and lush vegetation. This part of the island is very photogenic, so charge your cameras – there will be plenty of stops for stunning shots.
Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. After lunch, you will have the opportunity to stroll through the old narrow streets of the village where the settlement of the island began, or take a swim in the ocean, weather permitting. We will return to Ponta Delgada around 6 PM.
All tours start in the town of Ponta Delgada.
Lunch and entrances to the parks are charged separately.
